ENERGY STAR qualified products and practices help you save money and reduce greenhouse gas emissions by meeting strict energy efficiency guidelines set by the U.S. EPA and U.S. DOE. The ENERGY STAR label also designates superior energy performance in homes and buildings.

Energy Star Homes certification protocol consists of three basic parts:

Domain reviews your plans using nationally accredited software to determine how the home will perform once built. You will receive recommendations for cost-effective ways to meet ENERGY STAR targets and help with evaulating alternatives.
Before and during construction, Domain will guide you and your sub-contractors and verify that you are meeting the ENERGY STAR qualifications.
At completion of the home, a required final verification, with testing, is conducted and the home will receive a confirmed ENERGY STAR rating.
